Minesweeper shipped in 1990 as a mouse tutorial. We turned it into a duel: eight players get the same board and the same mine layout. Every safe tile raises your multiplier — and with it the temptation to open one more.
The tension is in the bank. Do you bank at 6× or push to 12×? The last two survivors share the points. No pay-to-win: nothing you can buy moves a mine.
